Brian Evenson is the author of a dozen books of fiction, His novel Immobility (Tor 2012) and the novella The Warren (Tor.com 2016) are Phil Dickian masterpieces. His novel Last Days won the American Library Association’s award for Best Horror Novel of 2009. His novel The Open Curtain (Coffee House Press) was a finalist for an Edgar Award and an International Horror Guild Award. Other books include The Wavering Knife (which won the International Horror Guild Award for best story collection 2003), He lives in Los Angeles and teaches in the Critical Studies Program at California Institute of the Arts.

Sarah Langan is the author of five novels, including the Phil Dickian novels Good Neighbors (2021) and A Better World (2024), and recently published the novella “Does Harlen Lattner Dream of Infected Sheep?” She’s received three Bram Stoker awards for her fiction, and she’s a founding board member of the Shirley Jackson Awards.
